Yan Yun Gao is a self-taught artist based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Working mainly in oils, as well as watercolour and Chinese ink, her subjects include landscapes, still life, florals , pets and portraits. Known for their sense of calm and serenity, her works aim to bring peace and spiritual resonance to viewers. Over the past decade, Yan has exhibited widely across the UK, including the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition (2023), and has won multiple Terry Biggs Cup (Public Vote) awards at St Albans exhibitions. Her paintings are often among the best sellers at festivals and shows.
