I have been a professional photographer all my life, working to a brief, a budget and a deadline. Nowadays I follow my own path, inspired by visual creativity in every medium.
I avoid conventional structures, preferring a more expressive feel, with a nod to the abstract. I’m happiest in a two-dimensional world; few vanishing points for me.

I have recently taken up digital drawing, going back to my earlier photographs as a source of subject matter, colour, and to explore composition and perspective. And as with my original photography, all in the context of the unexpected.

My aim always is to create a striking image, well composed within the frame.
