Originally training as a draughtsman gave me an affinity with pen and ink. I have subsequently through tutorials, in acrylic, with Paul Bailey developed a love of structure and form which lends itself to the technique of abstraction in both landscape and the built enviroment. Coupled with the exploration of colour and light I have been lead to portraiture.
